Done with re recording my e gtr, bass gtr and vox!!

Recorded Electric Guitar earlier on and I found that the entering of the guitar solo doesn’t really fit well with my song, however I love the solo. Credits to Zaki! Maybe I could try putting in more drum fills in between and try it out tomorrow for drums recording. Hope everything’s go well!

Halfway through

I’m partially done with my song, however there’s still recording not done yet. I’m going to record Electric Guitar by zaki on Thursday and as well as vocals by myself and Drums by Jonathan on Friday subsequently. As for my lyrics, it was about one-third done and I’m going to consult Leon again.

The form of my song is Verse, Pre chorus, Interlude, Verse 2, Chorus, E Gtr Solo, Chorus. Below is the full version of my pod2 without vocals and recorded instruments.

Pod 2 Rock Ballad

I’m still working on my song. However, below is an incomplete draft version of my pod 2. It’s a rock ballad English song and my lyrics is not yet ready.

Pod 2 research

In the end, I’ve decided to compose probably a ballad rock/rnb English song. However, I’m still figuring out and trying out to see which is a better genre for me to handle.

I did some research on some of Beyonce Knowles’s Ballad music as well as Ballad rock music too. Get some inspirations from there to do my song. Right now, I’m still figuring the chords out and trying to make my song sounds more ‘English’.

Plot for pod 2

I really have no idea what genre I should do for pod 2. Pop rock or pop rnb??

Initially, I wanted to compose a chinese pop rock song with the reference of rock songs by Zhang Hui Mei. But I feel that it’s time for me to write an English song since I have been writing chinese song and I felt rather sick of it too.

Recently I have been listening and researching on this song by Eminem and Rihanna, Love the way you lie. I really love it and I feel for this song. I hope that I can do something like this. However, I have no confidence with the lyrics in writing such great and impactful rap. Apart from that, I have no idea who to ask to rap for my song with such impactful voice. I personally feel that for this kind of song, there are only 2 outcomes, which is you score a very high grade or you just screw it up. I’ve screwed that very first pod, thats why I feel really stress this time round. I guess I’m just afraid…
